In Yin Yoga, we hold the poses for a longer time than usual awakening to the more yin qualities of the self.
There is a certain aspect of our intelligence that works towards change, manipulating the moment in the direction that would make us feel better…
Mindful techniques do not interfere with our experience. They help us listen and participate in feeling the moment “as it is.”
Many times our problems do not lay on the amount of pain a situation is causing us, but on resisting reality. When we stop fighting, energy is released and can transform the whole experience into a life-changing phenomenon.
Yin Yoga is a beautiful ceremony. It vibrates to different rhythms and traditions, recites poetry, follows our heartbeat and it’s subject is always Love.
