The central channel is the main causeway for energies from our heart to the extremities. Maintenance of balance and free flow is essential to lightness throughout. Core muscles surrounding the torso create stability and enable twists, forward, backward and side movements of the spine. Stretching and tone are extremely important to the health of our entire body, and learning to elongate the spine evenly is the most essential to the soft tissue and disc health. As the world around places force and weight constantly, we adapt by using postural muscles to maintain erect graceful movement. This grace is the product of connection not force, the body is light and bouncy. Movement with approach to balance and precision brings tone and fluidity to our being.
